Milan-born artist Iris Nesher is renowned for her photography and ceramics, which have earned international acclaim and been featured in prestigious museums and galleries around the world. Recently, her acclaimed video art Out Of Time was acquired by the National Gallery of Modern Art in Rome.
Her solo museum exhibitions include: the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art (Israel), the Museum of Art Guadalajara (Mexico), the National Museum of Contemporary Art (Moscow), and the Museum of Intercultural Dialogue (Krakow).
In addition to her exhibition activity, Iris Nesher is also a highly regarded teacher. She conducts seminars and lectures worldwide, exploring the deeper aspects of photography, as well as the emotional and material dimensions of ceramics.
Her works are included in major public and private collections, such as the Galleria Nazionale d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea in Rome (G-N-A-M-C) and the Herzliya Museum of Contemporary Art.
Nesher pursued her studies in the United States, attending the School of Visual Arts in New York and later the California Art Institute in Los Angeles.
